Creation of the Fort Erie Public Library Historical Database was possible thanks to the Greater Fort Erie Digital Alliances Project from the Library Strategic Development Fund, Ontario Ministry of Culture.
The local history collection has been greatly enriched through the donations of Mr. Louis McDermott.
Developer of the database, Magdalena Woszczyna, would like to thank for the continuous help and support Ms. Carolyn Nordheimer, Public Services Coordinator and Mr. John Dunn, Systems Specialist, both from the Fort Erie Public Library. Indispensable to the project was also Mr. Reid Canavan, Information Technology Support Co-ordinator at the Town of Fort Erie.
